Abstract This reference manual is part of the Tanzania Energy Development and Access Expansion Project (TEDAP). The objectives of the TEDAP are to (i) improve the quality and efficiency of the electricity service provision in the main growth centers of Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Kilimanjaro, and (ii) establish a sustainable basis for energy access expansion and renewable energy development in Tanzania. The projectʼs global environmental objective is to abate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by using RE in rural areas to provide electricity.
