Abstract
During the conference "Renewables in the electrification of Mozambique" organized by ALER with the support from the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP), which took place 25-26 October 2017 in Maputo, Mozambique, ALER launched the 2nd edition of the “Renewables in Mozambique – National Status Report”.

This is the most comprehensive and updated report on the status of renewable energy in Mozambique, allowing an overview of current and future developments of the sector. This 2nd edition featured updates about national statistics, institutional changes, new projects, donor’s programs and recent reports’ findings.

Thanks to the kind support of RECP the 2nd edition is a report free-of-charge.
