Knowledge fuels change - Support energypedia!
For over 10 years, energypedia has been connecting energy experts around the world — helping them share knowledge, learn from each other, and accelerate the global energy transition.
Today, we ask for your support to keep this platform free and accessible to all. Even a small contribution makes a big difference! If just 10–20% of our 60,000+ monthly visitors donated the equivalent of a cup of coffee — €5 — Energypedia would be fully funded for a whole year.
Is the knowledge you’ve gained through Energypedia this year worth €5 or more?
Your donation keeps the platform running, helps us create new knowledge products, and contributes directly to achieving SDG 7.

The E-Learning Platform is developed within the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) project which aims to support the development of vibrant markets for energy efficient lighting and appliances across East and Southern Africa. Efficient use of electricity in homes, businesses and public facilities in these growing regions is one of the fastest and cheapest ways of accelerating sustainable development. The objective of this online training is to support capacity development, by strengthening the competence of various stakeholders from the energy sector, key to the development of an enabling market for energy efficient lighting and appliances in East and Southern Africa. At the moment two modules are available, Module 1 Introduction to markets for energy efficient lighting and appliances and Module 2 Lighting. As the project develops, the online training will be expanded to cover clean cooling, productive use of energy and market development. Modules are divided into several blocks, each including a number of pre-recorded video presentations to enable you to carry out the training at your convenience.
