Knowledge fuels change - Support energypedia!
For over 10 years, energypedia has been connecting energy experts around the world — helping them share knowledge, learn from each other, and accelerate the global energy transition.
Today, we ask for your support to keep this platform free and accessible to all. Even a small contribution makes a big difference! If just 10–20% of our 60,000+ monthly visitors donated the equivalent of a cup of coffee — €5 — Energypedia would be fully funded for a whole year.
Is the knowledge you’ve gained through Energypedia this year worth €5 or more?
Your donation keeps the platform running, helps us create new knowledge products, and contributes directly to achieving SDG 7.

Description
The 18th International Conference on “Energy and Climate Change” will take place at the

National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) during 6-10 October 2025, in Athens- Greece. The venue for all the events is the Athens University History Museum (16 Tholou street, Plaka) of NKUA, located beneath the impressive rock of the Acropolis-Parthenon.

The Conference is set under the auspices of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC).

This year KEPA of NKUA in its capacity as the United Nations Academic Impact Hub Co-Chair for the 7th Sustainable Development Goal (UNAI SDG7 Hub Co-Chair) will host the second (2nd) Conference of all UNAI SDG Hubs in Athens with the aim to further promote the “2030 – Agenda for Sustainable Development”. This will be an opportunity for meetings, exchange views and common action in favor of vulnerable societies.

The Conference on “Energy and Climate Change” started as an activity of an EU-FP6 funded

project. The 1st PROMITHEAS Conference titled “Energy Investments and Trade Opportunities” in 2008 was a two-day event focused on political and scientific topics.
