In-depth analysis of the biodigester market in Benin: Potential and outlook study
In a world where the energy transition has become a priority, biodigesters play a crucial role in offering a viable alternative to fossil fuels. By exploiting renewable resources such as organic agricultural waste, food waste and livestock effluent, they produce biogas, a versatile energy source that can be used for cooking, heating, lighting and even electricity generation.
The EnDev Benin programme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, has carried out a study of the market potential for biodigesters in Benin:
