To contribute to addressing the question of how universal and sustainable energy access for all can be achieved through: ► Leveraging Web 2.0 technologies to remove knowledge barriers and expand the diffusion of information on energy issues in developing countries, ► Fostering global collaborative knowledge exchange on renewable energy and energy access issues, and ​► Creating the right environment and providing useful tools for stakeholders engaged in the energy sector to collaborate, create and share knowledge and practical experience.
