Abstract
located at the heart of the Horn of Africa, Ethiopia is a key security player in the region. But the country faces serious risks, some of which are linked to climate impacts: for example, Ethiopia's predominantly rain-fed farms are suffering in low rainfall years, while climate-induced

migration could exacerbate existing ethnic tensions.

The Climate Security Expert Network has published a new Risk Brief and Fact Sheet to shed light on the climate-fragility challenges facing Ethiopia.
