| Abstract | Vor dem Hintergrund der Klimaveränderungen und begrenzten fossilen Energieressourcen ist die Umstellung der Energieversorgung auf nachhaltige, regenerative Energieträger eine der zentralen Herausforderungen unserer Zeit. Der von der Bundesregierung beschlossene Atomausstieg wird den Bedarf nach sauberem, grundlastfähigem Strom weiter erhöhen. Biogas als wichtiger erneu‐ erbarer Energieträger, der speicherbar, grundlastfähig und in allen drei Nutzungspfaden (Strom, Wärme und Kraftstoffe) einsetzbar ist, kann einen wesentlichen Beitrag bei der künftigen Energie‐ versorgung Deutschlands und zur Erreichung der Klimaschutzziele der Bundesregierung leisten. |
