This is check list of the topics that a solar training for the user should contain:

  1. Basic explanation of how the solar energy works
  2. Description of the main components of a SHS
    • Solar module
    • Battery
    • Battery charge controller
    • Inverter
    • Loads
  1. Limitations of the SHS
  2. Operation of the system
  3. How to connect the loads
  4. Maintenance
    • Cleaning the panels and the battery poles

For the end users is important to have not only training but also posters and instructions for the operation of the systems.
