The 6-months capacity-building programme seeks to empower women entrepreneurs or owners of an energy-related business to advance their businesses through expert and industry role models. The training is limited only to business soft-skill training and does not include technical technologies training. The programme is only open to individuals who identify as women and have SADC nationality. Applicants should also be able to commit to attending virtually / online roughly 8 hours per month towards the programme. This initiative aims to empower women-led entrepreneurs to drive sustainable energy solutions in the region. Women entrepreneurs in the areas of solar thermal, energy efficiency and productive use of energy will be given preferential consideration. The capacity-building programme DOES NOT provide capital funding but facilitates enterprise financing through matchmaking and linking entrepreneurs with potential funders.

If you identify as a woman and are interested in applying for this programme, please fill in the application form.

The deadline for applications is the 20th of May 2025, 23:59 PM Central Africa Time (CAT). Kindly note that the application must be completed in English.
