This webinar will focus on the productive uses of electricity for making mini-grids viable. It will include two case studies: the first one from the Practical Action will focus on how milling and ice-making could be included in the planning and operation of a mini-grid and the second one from Rainforest Alliance will include their experiences of using tea saw dust for energy generation in coffee cooperative areas. This webinar is the first in a series of webinars that target knowledge sharing from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) operating in energy access for other CSOs and beyond.
