GOGLA is seeking to elevate the role of the Off-Grid Solar industry as the fastest, most cost-effective and sustainable way to deliver universal energy access, and through that improve lives and livelihoods, help deliver green growth in developing economies, and contribute to climate resilience and adaptation.

This is a role at the heart of an Industry Association. GOGLA's ambition is to strengthen its membership base with vibrant and successful companies, among others by organizing great industry events. The Head of Membership and Events, who will be part of the GOGLA Management Team, will help to ensure the organization connects pioneering distributed solar energy companies (for household and productive uses) with a suite of business services, enhancing its member offering and engagement. GOGLA's reputation for industry-leading events is renowned. The successful candidate will also lead efforts to take its events to the next level, reaching new audiences and creating powerful forums for stakeholders to connect, share knowledge and innovate.

*Location: Amsterdam or Nairobi (alternative locations may be acceptable, if work hours align with Europe/Africa time zones)
*Reporting to: Executive Director
*Duration: start with 1 year, extension upon statisfactory performance. Shorter term assignments negotiable
*Hours: 40 hours per week
*Starting date: As soon as possible

*Remuneration: USD 80-100k, depending on experience and contract terms
